From March 25-28th the American Centre in Prague will host the 31st American Indian Workshop: “Transformation, Translation, Transgression: Native American Culture in Contact and Context.” Professor Emeritus of History John Strong of Southampton will present at a session titled: Eastern Indian Voices: Culture and Identity and speak on “Meeting Montoya: How the Unkechaug Nation Asserted Sovereign Immunity in Federal Court (2009).”
